2010 Shooting Season: Blixt & Co at Lazy Triple Creek Ranch
Thank you for your interest in Blixt & Co. and our authentic driven shoot at Lazy Triple Creek in Newdale, ID. We are thrilled that our newsletter captured your attention and motivated you to further explore our offerings. We believe that we are introducing something truly unique to the American West, and would love to have you join us as our guest and share this experiences are what create and build our tradition in this historic sport.
SHOOTING SCHEDULE
The Private Shooting Party
There are a number of ways that you can participate. Our most popular "package" is a single or double day of driven shooting (double day - two consecutive days), where we include everything from start to finish (simulated clay shooting the day before the shoot, all ammunition, hunting licenses, transportation to and from the airport, loaders etc.). You and your team of guns would arrive and we will take care of the rest.
The "All inclusive One Day Package" is $4,000 per gun, and the "All inclusive Two Day Package" is $7,000 per gun (not including lodging).
To book your private shooting party, please call 307.413.5450 or email lars@blixtco.com
The Single Gun
Please know that you can participate on an individual basis by joining our Shooting Syndicate. The Blixt & Co. Shooting Syndicate is designed to cater to individuals that don't have seven others to shoot with. It can also benefit people that are new to the sport and have not yet received an invitation to join a private syndicate.
If you are interested in joining our syndicate, you’ll pay a small "membership fee" of $500 per year. This allows us to attend to all of our members needs (as the administration of looking after 8 individuals rather than one full line of guns is a bit labor intensive) to the highest expectations and make sure that all needs are met as you arrive at your shooting destination. We provide our members a sliding scale rebate on the number of pegs that each member decides to utilize during the year (the more you shoot, the less you pay per individual peg).
If you would like more information on our "Peg Membership" please do not hesitate to call and I would be glad to give you more information.
Background of Lazy Triple Creek
I would like to give you some background information about Lazy Triple Creek. This coming year will be the fourth season conducting a driven shoot at the estate. As you may have discovered in the recent article in Double Gun Journal, we have taken extensive and disciplined measures to create our program with very similar methods as in Europe. We do not release any of our birds on the day of the shoot or throw them out of a box from the crest of our canyons. Lazy Triple Creek is a truly authentic driven pheasant and partridge shoot, as you would see in Europe or England.
A Day in The Field
We conduct our shoot over a minimum of 5 drives per day and we base the shoot on a "non-limit" bag. This means that you do not contract, for example; a 300 bird day. You shoot what you think is sport, as long as high sportsmanlike conduct is applied and safety is taken into consideration. Over the course of the day you will be looked after by your personal loader, a 50 man strong support team including a shoot captain, keeper, beaters, fellow loaders, dog handlers, and lodge staff.
We cater to 8 guns or 8 couples, mostly due to the fact that the lodge accommodates this number, but it is also the traditional number of guns on the line. It has also been our experience that this is a nice number to present fair shooting opportunities for all guns on the line.
The Lodge
Should you decide to stay with us at Lazy Triple Creek, (which we highly encourage all of our guests to do) our private chef, hostess, and staff will take care of all your needs during your visit. All guests have a private bedroom, a personal locker, and the opportunity to store your guns in our gunroom.
Please know that we only host one shooting party at any given time, which means that your shooting party of 8 guns (or 8 couples) will have the entire property and lodge for your self.

Simulated pheasant flurry
