Blixt and Company and Logsdail Classic at the "Shows"
Blixt and Company and Logdail Classic have been busy meeting men and women shooting sport enthusiasts at the various shows around the country this year.
We started at the Dallas Safari Club's annual convention Jan 6-9, 2011 where approximately 30,000 attendees enjoyed exhibits, seminars, and entertainment. What a great show that is. We will be there again next year on January 5-8, 2012.
Then, we were off the Reno for the annual Safari Club International convention Jan 20-23, 2011 where approximately 20,000 people attended. We will be at SCI's 40th anniversary convention in Las Vegas February 1-4, 2012 where an even bigger crowd is expected. You can find us on Level 2, Booth number 4175.
Then, we were off to the Southern Side By Side Championship and Exhibition April 29-May 1, 2011 in Sanford, North Carolina where many side by side and over and under gun enthusiasts had their 12th annual shooting and exhibiting event. This event keeps growing yearly as more shooters find the culture of the double gun.
Logsdail Classic moved from the Side by Side to track side at the Kentucky Derby, donating extensively to an organization that helps preserve the history homes of the area, and thus the rich culture.
New this year for us will be the SCI/Quail Unlimited EPIC Game Fair in Atlanta September 23-25, 2011. Modeled after the famous game fairs of the British Isles where multiple events are orchestrated under one banner, the EPIC Game Fair will feature equestrian, shooting, fishing, canine, archery, and other recreational activities for the entire family to enjoy. This is the first time that a game fair has been offered in the US and SCI and Quail Unlimited have pulled out all the stops to make this a fabulous multi-concept event.
