The development and continued use of a proper shooting estate require a number of steps, each of which Blixt & Co. will help guide estate owners through.
To begin with, the perspective land is evaluated. Each piece of property is unique
— as are the elements that help create an ideal estate. Climate, topography, vegetation, native wildlife, safety, and environmental conditions are each carefully considered. A shoot cannot be forced onto a piece of property
— the finest shoots are those created in harmony with the land.
If conditions permit, the basic framework of an estate begins to take shape. Where will the shoot lines be positioned? Where will the accompanying infrastructure be placed? How will the game be managed? From there, a budget and timeline is set and implementation of the shoot can
