Looking back at the first time that I saw Lazy Triple Creek, the land was covered in ten feet of snow, but the dramatic open views, deep canyons and flat farmable plateaus made my shooting heart pound and trigger finger itch. In the spring of 2009, after a few unexpected turns, I found myself with the opportunity for Blixt & Co., my newly established shooting company, to obtain the exclusive sporting rights for what is one of the most exquisite properties for driven shooting that I have ever seen.
Despite the hard economic environment and the compressed timing to articulate what to some seemed an impossible task; to create a traditional and authentic driven shoot in the majestic American West, we were bolstered by a vision, an amazing team, and a passion to share a sport that I love. In truth, there was the strong intrigue of creating something truly unique.
Now after our first season, we know that we did the right thing. We had met a large number of enthusiastic sportsmen, some of whom had shot with us as individuals through our shooting syndicate, or some of whom have come as a group of eight friends. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for shooting with us this past season, and at the same time invite you back for more exiting days in the field.
To those of you that have not yet experienced this exciting shooting opportunity of traditional driven shooting, we invite you to take part, and we look forward having you on the line at Lazy Triple Creek.
