Matt Whindle has a unique wealth of experience gained from a lifetime of shooting and game keeping on some of the most renowned, traditional, driven shoots in Great Britain, Europe and New Zealand.
Matt grew up learning the time-honored traditions and practices of the quintessential English country shooting estate, and spent 11 years working on some the most prominent shoots in Great Britain.
Being an expert in countryside management, rearing, releasing and hosting the perfect shoot day, in 1997 Matt was asked to create a typical English style driven shoot in the unique environment of post communist Czech Republic. Having established the first genuine English style shoot in the country, he was then challenged to better it by creating the foremost, prestigious pheasant shoot on the Vysoky Chlumec Estate near Prague, in the Czech Republic.
This shoot quickly became the most coveted invitation of the shooting season in central Europe and lead Matt on to opportunities to act as long-term advisor to a number of shoots in the beautiful region of Tuscany, Italy and Bavaria, southern Germany. He then helped to created and keepered on a brand-new exciting shoot in the unique environment of New Zealand.
Matt has been involved in a huge variety of shooting and game keeping on three continents and is able to bring the very best initiatives for maximizing the opportunities of any existing or potential new shooting estate.
